Shriro

Shriro is a leading international Kitchen Appliances and Consumer Products marketing and distribution group. They handle a stunning array of internationally-acclaimed, innovative products, carefully curated to enhance the way people live their lives. Shriro has over 1,000 in-store displays in Retail stores across in Australia alone.

The Group markets and distributes an extensive range of products under company-owned brands (including Omega, Robinhood, Everdure and Omega Altise), and third-party brands (such as Casio, Blanco and Pioneer) in Australia and New Zealand. They have established themselves as a leading supplier of home appliances and lifestyle brands throughout Australasia with Blanco, Omega, Robinhood and Everdure, secured under their portfolio of products.

The success of Shriro is based on their strong management and work culture which focuses on appliances that are created with beauty, craft, precision, innovation, respect and timelessness as hallmarks. They set themselves the highest standards in terms of the quality anyone can expect from both their products, service, ideas for presentation and quality. In short, Shiro's success has been based on their focus on:

  • excellent shelving and presentation of products
  • acquisition of quality products and marketing channels across the world

Shriro contacted WNPL to develop a platform for enhancing their product presentation and customer education initiatives. This platform, which included tablet-based marketing and presentation tools was developed for use by their associates and partner stores in international locations. A secure backend server was also developed to manage the products. The app, while not publicly available to download, is distributed internally by Shriro and deployed internationally, and would help retailers who deal in Shriro products better present these products and provide their customers with the best information to make the right decision in purchasing quality products.

WNPL worked with Shriro’s design team to make the design and presentation match the expectations of Shriro’s standards, which included world class product presentation imagery and highly efficient layout and presentation.

Simplex Living

Efficient communication between residents and apartment management is enhanced and streamlined by the Simplex Living platform. Giving the residents ease of access to information exchange with apartment managers, the Simplex Living App and backend platform boosts the accessibility of management of many modern apartments. With many residents and apartments signing up, Simplex Living is on the route to becoming the new norm in resident-and-apartment communication.

WNPL has been with the Simplex Living team from day one of product development. Starting with liaison, wireframing, the skeleton app all the way to the final finished & published product. Development included secure and efficient backend server, backend database, web portal, iOS app and Android app.

ALDI

ALDI is a retail chain with over 10,000 stores in 20 countries, and an estimated combined turnover of more than A$90 billion. Based in Germany, the chain sells a range of grocery items, including produce, meat & dairy.

One of the key aspects behind ALDI’s success is in managing resources efficiently. Managing staff and floor workers in a synchronized and efficient manner to avoid wastage, duplication and loss of efficiency. They do this while keeping the worker morale high and also paying industries best salaries, while minimising attrition rates.

WNPL was contacted by ALDI to build a sophisticated tracking and reporting system to enhance their efficiency. This includes synchronizing workforce with mobile apps, alerting of important tasks and changes. The system has been rolled out across the globe.

The mobile apps are distributed through Enterprise internal distribution. The backend is using Amazon AWS. The servers have gone through several penetration testing to ensure security and reliability of data.

Currently WNPL is working on a host of applications in addition to the enhancement of the original efficiency management system.

Snatchit

Snatchit.shop is a new and exponentially growing marketplace MarTech startup that rewards customers for Influence. While 100s of shops promote their products through this click-and-buy influencer platform, many serious online sellers are on the queue to get integrated with Snatchit.

Snatchit improves sales by creating new experiences for customers when shopping online. Provides powerful tools to track sales accurately from the content influencers create, allowing them to track sales directly from an image or video. With the ability to create unique links with fast checkouts to sell fast moving products across any platform, Snatchit allows customers to shop multiple retailers and checkout just once!

Snatchit is the marketplace for the customers of any online store to browse, shop and share. It improves sales by creating new experiences for any online shop’s customers when shopping online and provides powerful tools to track sales accurately from the content they create, thus allowing them to:

  • Track sales directly from an image or video.
  • Create unique links with fast checkouts to sell your products across ANY PLATFORM!
  • Shop multiple retailers and checkout just once!
  • Create a new marketplace for customers to browse, shop and share.

WNPL has been working with the Snatchit team from its inception to work through the mobile apps, backends, payment systems and integrations. WNPL’s team was able to make the complex integrations of Snachit with many of the major eCommerce platforms. We also work with the IT team of new online sellers & integrations who wish to get integrated with Snatchit.

WNPL manages hosting, architecting, building, delivering and supporting the Snatchit platform, which is transforming retail through “shoppable” content.

Brandesto

Brandesto is a startup in partnership with WNPL. This is a marketing automation platform for retailers. Brandesto empowers retail chains to promote their products through online media.

WNPL designs, develops and manages the backend and mobile apps of Brandesto. Based on feedback from previous releases, the platform has gone through any revisions for improving security, efficiency and usability. The latest version is due to be released soon.

ProptMe

ProptMe is a growing platform that lets you hire out any business or household items lying idle, thereby increasing the monetary value of all your assets. The mobile and online platform allows users to search and discover items they would like to hire from their locality. The platform allows free listing for businesses or individuals who wish to hire out their items.

WNPL was contacted by the ProptMe team as a startup idea by its founders, who were already in other businesses. By working with the enthusiastic startup founders, WNPL was able to come up with a cost-effective platform on a fast delivery schedule, still meeting the high standards laid out. WNPL manages all the technical aspects of the platform and mobile apps - from hosting, supporting to maintaining.

Canon

Canon Inc. is a Japanese multinational corporation specializing in the manufacture of printing, imaging and optical products and has worldwide presence. A subsidiary, Canon Information Systems Research Australia (CISRA) was created by Canon for improving their products through Research and Development.

Our consultant worked with CISRA in their photo printing and online photo promotion platforms. The R&D operations were completed by CISRA and closed the division on 8th March 2019 after completing the objectives successfully.

AMSA

Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) is responsible for the regulation and safety of Australia's shipping fleet and management of Australia's international maritime obligations. AMSA has a revenue of over A$160 million through levies on the shipping industry.

Our consultant worked with AMSA and created a team to deliver AMSA’s online portal for collecting and managing levies online. The levies are calculated based on latest Government legislation and rules, and incorporates other factors like size, martials being carried, intention, etc. The portal is focussed on delivering quick and secure transactions and page loads in very weak internet connections (as in a small ship) and not on the design itself.

Geoscience

Geoscience Australia is a Government agency that carries out geoscientific research. One division of Geoscience has a team of scientists working on watching seismic activities to predict Tsunamis that could hit Australian waters.

Our consultant worked with the scientists and the rest of the technical team in improving the Tsunami warning system. This particular system was developed in the 'Perl' language in a Unix Solaris environment with an Oracle database to fit in with the rest of the infrastructures and platforms that Geoscience already uses.
